About Modern Mobile Medicine
MODERN Mobile Medicine started as a house call medical practice for the whole family. Our service is the culmination of many years of planning to offer the most convenient primary care experience. We listened to both patients and doctors about their concerns with the broken traditional health care system, and then we set out to design the most desirable primary care service available for patients, and the best way for doctors to deliver that care.
How Are We Different?
Our primary purpose is to restore the doctor-patient relationship, through Direct Primary Care (DPC). Direct primary care means that your doctor works for you, not third-party payers like insurance companies or the government, so decisions about your care will be made by you and your doctor.
House Calls
No more waiting around at a doctor’s office with sick people! With home visits, your comfort and convenience are maximized, and risk of germ exposure is minimized. Perfect for families with multiple children!
Fewer Patients
Did you know that most Primary Care Physicians have 2,500-3,500 patients? Our doctors limit their practice to approximately 500 patients per doctor. This means that they can spend more time with you when you need them. And appointments are almost always available same day or next day.
Telemedicine
Many medical concerns can be diagnosed and treated without being examined in person. Our doctors utilize various forms of technology from a simple phone call or text, to video chats to give you the best care possible, no matter where you are.
No Insurance
MODERN Mobile Medicine does not accept insurance, so you won’t have a middleman in your primary care. Decisions about your healthcare will be made only by you and your doctor. Our patients pay a monthly membership fee, like a gym.

Convenient & Affordable Medical Solutions
Discounted Lab Prices
Members may use their insurance for labs, but also have access to deeply discounted laboratory testing on our practice account with LabCorp. LabCorp prices can be found here.
Mobile Lab Collection
Mobile lab collection is available, $79 for members, $99 for non-members. Office lab collection is $20 for members, $25 for non-members. Pediatric and adult mobile phlebotomy offered.
Discounted Lab Prices
Adult vaccines may be obtained at any pharmacy. For pediatric vaccines, we work with Grubb’s Pharmacy on Capitol Hill. They will administer all routine childhood vaccines to our patients, billing insurance when applicable.
Other options include MinuteClinic or your city health department.
After-Hours Triage
If you can anticipate needing to see or talk our team, please do-so during regular service hours. We are extremely accessible during regular hours, and you are able to self-schedule online.
If you request medical advice after-hours, there is an on-call surcharge of $75. If you need to be seen in person outside of business hours, you should proceed to the nearest urgent care or emergency department.
